Meet the Leadership Team

Beckham Thomas
CEO and co-founder

Beckham Thomas is a serial entrepreneur. He realized the need to bring efficiency to the equipment sales process and funded Trnsact. Currently, he is leading the development of an enterprise SaaS (Software as a Service) platform that delivers digital F&I tools to the $1.7T US equipment sales market.

Prior to starting Trnsact, Thomas spent more than a decade advising companies on business strategy, digital transformation, and corporate finance in the capital equipment, specialty finance, aviation, and technology sectors. He was also active in advising equipment manufacturers and dealer groups on strategic and financial matters and alternative equipment ownership models, i.e., Hardware-as-a-Service. His prior roles include Director at Culver Pacific Capital Partners and Vice President at Foundation Capital.

Thomas is a dropout of the MBA program at The Wharton School. He has successfully completed a Doctor of Law (JD) in Banking, Corporate Finance, and Securities from Whittier Law School and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from The George Washington University School of Business.

Vijay Patil joined Trnsact after successfully establishing Yamaha Motor’s captive finance operation in the USA ground up. As a member of the founding team, he built Yamaha Motor’s systems, vendor setup, scorecards, credit and funding processes, underwriting infrastructure, and servicing organization. The captive also in-sourced Commercial Lending, Retail Credit Card, and Prime Installment businesses from Wells Fargo, Capital One, and Synchrony Bank to offer credit products to over 3200 dealers nationwide. As Chief Risk & Strategy Officer, he also led Yamaha’s Global Action Team on Risk Management that was tasked with standardizing Credit Infrastructure and Risk Management across global finance operations.

Prior to Yamaha, Patil set up and managed Risk Management and Credit operations for Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America, after the end of the Mitsubishi – Merrill Lynch Bank JV. His prior positions include Vice President of Risk Management at HSBC Auto Finance USA, SAP Consultant at Geosoft Technologies, and Dy Manager at SI Group India.

Patil has completed an Engineering degree from VJTI, Mumbai, MBA in Information Systems and Finance from The University of Toledo Ohio, and Strategic Decisions and Risk Management program from Stanford University.

Brett Davis
President of Construction and Agriculture Vertical

Brett Davis joined Trnsact after holding numerous leadership roles in his 25-year tenure at CNH Industrial. He served as a President and Chairman of CNH Industrial Capital, President of CNH Latin America Financial Services, Vice President of New Holland North America, and President for Banco CNH Industrial Capital in Brazil. He directed the P&L of the North American division of the New Holland Brand (Agriculture & Construction equipment), leading a team of 500 direct and indirect employees, guiding over $1.5B in annual sales.

At CNH, he was hand-picked for North America and international leadership assignments, from establishing startups in Argentina and Brazil to guiding the overall growth and profitability of the NYSE conglomerate. He led sweeping transformations that have increased profits and market share for CNH and its global subsidiaries.

Davis is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree and J.D.

Ross Stites brings two decades of Credit Risk Management and Underwriting experience to DCR. At DCR, he is responsible for all aspects of Credit. Prior to Trnsact, he had served as a Senior Vice President of Credit for Culver Pacific Capital Partners. At Alliance Funding Group, he was responsible for analyzing new deals for internal approval, and for syndicating deals to bank partners. In 2007, he was named AFG Employee of the Year.

Stites’ prior experiences also include District Sales Manager at Financial Federal Credit Inc. and

Credit Analyst at CitiCapital. At Citi, he was responsible for analyzing new credit submittals, managing all aspects of the approval and funding process.

Stites is a graduate of The University of California, Irvine where he studied social sciences.
